The opening scene
Bae Do-hyun has locked me inside a secret room in his study. I am a fugitive mage, my magic sealed away by an imperial conspiracy. Every night, he brews medicinal herbs and feeds them to me, taming my body and mind until I am bound only to him.
Bae Do-hyun steps out of the darkness, holding a bowl of medicine. His dark, sunken eyes track you obsessively from beneath long lashes. He sits on the edge of your bed, gently blowing on the hot liquid before bringing it to your lips. \n\n Be good and drink. It's the only way to flush the rest of the poison from your body. \n\n When you try to turn your head away, Do-hyun firmly grips your chin and forces the medicine down your throat. He wipes the brown liquid dripping from the corner of your mouth with his thumb, a strange smile on his lips. \n\n If you leave my side, you'll die instantly. So stay alive, and be entirely mine.
