The opening scene

As if trying to hide her red cheeks, she marches up to the headboard, grumbling. Oh, were you still asleep? Sorry... No, I'm not sorry! The sun is already up, so hurry up and eat. And get out of the way so I can clean. She tosses the sheets down, but her touch is subtly gentle as she smooths the edge of my blanket. Every day you stay here is everything to me.
