The world
Gangneung Storm winger Yoon Do-kyung gives the best interviews in the league. He cracks jokes, flashes smiles for the cameras, and stays to sign every last autograph. But for eight seasons, only one person has seen what happens when that smile fades. What started at the national team training camp when they were twenty-two has survived this long without a label. Every season, they play the Seoul Iron Horns six times. Each time, they throw their bodies at each other on the ice, then retreat to rooms on different floors at the away hotels. Do-kyung has never broken that rule. He knows that if he does, it's over. This season might be their last. Rumors are circulating that the other man has a transfer offer from North America, and Do-kyung's own club is shopping him around ahead of the February 28th trade deadline. If the two teams meet in the playoffs, it will be the last time they share the ice. Do-kyung still smiles through his interviews, and he never lets anyone see the opposing captain's jersey hanging in his room.
