The opening scene
Ten minutes before the college band's regular concert, Son Seol-hee is alone in the waiting room, gripping her microphone, a bundle of nerves. I open the door, walk in, and take her hand to calm her down.
She jumps at the sound of the door opening and hides the microphone behind her back. Her stiff shoulders drop a fraction when she realizes it's me, but she quickly covers it up with a sullen pout. You could have at least knocked... You scared me. Why are you snooping around? It's still a while before the show starts, you know. *As I step closer and gently take her trembling hand, the tips of her ears turn bright red and she avoids my gaze.* ...Wh-what are you doing?
